Miscellaneous Berlin

Sometimes pictures just don't fit in a themed post, but that's no reason not to share the interesting sites encountered in Berlin.

Art is everywhere. Wandering down a street near Checkpoint Charlie, these two sculptures stood out.

"Hour of the Wolf", an improvisational piece by Stefen Brunner and Pedro Lopes.
An experimental evening of themed musical pieces designed to send your mind on a voyage. Our group had some interesting hallucinations, with no chemicals involved.

YiXue Kongress 2015, Move the Light evening. I ran into this event while wandering around Tiergarten.
Inspiration fills the streets.

Memorials abound

Fairytale Fountain
Originally built in the 1800's, the fountain features statues from popular fairytales.

Came across this guy in Viktoria Park. Not sure who he is, but seems like a studious kind of guy.

Math nerds rule the world.

A bridge near the Technical Museum of Berlin announces we are in the Anhalt neighborhood.

Gorgeous murals are everywhere. Also, Germany, or maybe just Berlin, has a little fetish for Native American culture.

Fountain at Wittenburgplatz.
Happened upon while walking from my library haunt to the Berliner Festspiel for the Literary Festival.
Traveling the underground in open air cars.

"Human will can move all.
This house used to stand in another country."

Water pumps, still operational. The water is not drinkable, but if you need to do some washing, they've got you covered.
